Sister Cities Project creates formal partnerships between affluent communities and underserved communities in San Diego to create programs and events that allow residents to build true relationships, with the goal of addressing racial equity and the racial wealth gap. Our work is focused on three impact areas:Community Connections: Addressing the need for mutual understanding and meaningful relationships between neighbors from differing communities by fostering authentic conversations and connections across racial lines and providing pathways for individuals to further engage in racial equity work.Business Growth: Addressing the disparities in compensation and financial equity that exist for Black Women Entrepreneurs by empowering them to transform their small businesses into generational wealth assets.Workforce Development: Addressing the unmet potential of Black Youth to seize growth opportunities in digital marketing careers and help equip them to establish their own businesses or pursue corporate jobs.
