Hospice By The Sea is a non-profit organization caring for patients in the San Diego County. It is our vision that no one should end the journey of life alone, afraid, or in pain. Hospice By The Sea provides end-of-life care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. We work with the patients and families concurrently to provide comfort and relief from symptoms experienced during a chronic long term illness. Hospice is about living during the last months, weeks and days of life in comfort, security and dignity. Hospice services are provided at home, assisted living homes, skilled nursing facilities, board and care facility, acute care hospital, or wherever the patient calls home, surrounded by family, culture and tradition.
